Installation

BlockifyIP Plugin installation doesn’t differ from any other plugin installation process, so you might be familiar with this process already. If not, please follow instructions below. The zip you have downloaded, please unzip it and then you will see 2 files.

Plugin Installation

Steps of Installation

Step 1 Login to your website (WordPress admin) .

Step 2 Navigate to Plugins >> Click on Add New.

Step 3 Click on Upload Plugin button.

Step 4 Browse to the plugin's zip file and choose that file.

Step 5 Click “Install Now” button and wait while plugin is uploaded on your server.

Step 6 Now, Activate the plugin by clicking on "Activate Plugin" button.

Step 7: Once it will get Activated you will see BlockifyIP icon on WordPress dashboard.

IP Blocker

This option show the list of blocked IPs. You can add new IP and redirect URL (where users will be redirected after blocking).

Country Blocker

This option allows you to block the countries from accessing the site.

Select Country - Select the countries from the dropdown.

Redirect URL - You can enable/disable the option and enter the URL, where user redirects after blocking country.

Firewalls

You can enable/disable firewall status settings.

Hide Login

This option allows you to enable or disable the login status. With this setting you can Protect your website by changing the login URL and preventing access to the wp-login.php page and the wp-admin directory to non-connected people. You need to add Login URL and Redirect URL.

Htaccess Hardening

This option allows you to manage WordPress security through .htaccess file. You can prevent directory listing, hide apache version, limit the allowed HTTP Request methods, Block IP Addresses and Ranges, referrer links, HTTP/1.0 Requests, etc.

Spam Protection

This option allows you to prevent the site from comments/posts added by the unknown or unauthorized users.

reCaptcha

In this setting, you have to enter Google reCaptcha API key and secret key. You can also enable/disable recaptch in the Login form and comment form

Outdated Items

This setting will show the items (theme and plugin) that needs to update.
